Moroccanoil And Zotos International, Inc. have settled an agreement, and resolved recent disputes. The disputes included litigation in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Moroccanoil sued Zotos for trademark and trade dress infringement, as well as unfair competition in relation to Zotos’ Luxe Majestic Oil argan oil products.

All proceedings between the companies will be discontinued, and both have expressed satisfaction with the resolution, which was not disclosed.

The decision will protect their respective intellectual property, commercial interests and marketing goals, Moroccanoil states.
